Barkingside Record Cabinet / Filing Cabinet

£0.00
Sold Out

The Eastlight "Barkingside" floor standing oak cabinet is a really unique piece of utilitarian furniture dating from around the early 1920s.

Originally made to store sleeveless 12in 78rpm records, it could also be used as a filing cabinet or it even fits bottles and glasses for an unusual and compact drinks cabinet!

It has a drop-down door that, once lowered, becomes a supporting panel allowing the internal drawer to be pulled out along the rails. Very clever design.

Width - 48cm

Height - 77cm

Depth - 60cm

Cabinet internal height - 36cm

Drawer internal width - 31cm

Drawer internal depth 10cm

All pieces are vintage, antique or preloved and have lived a life before, so may show signs of age and use which give them character.
